Eihän painon lisäys voi olla mikään vaihtoehto  ;D  Mutta tosiaan kyllä ihan uskomattoman hienosti näyttää
auto toimivan etelän auringon alla toivotaan, että kylmä pohjoinen hiukan rauhoittaa tahtia  ::)

Epäilisin, että päinvastoin. Uskon, että tuo setuppi toimii paljon paremmin täällä. Onhan se tänne pohjoiseen säädettykin. Tulee tiukkaa kilibailua.  :P

UPDATES! Kuva

I got some parts from Sweden to test:

Kuva
Dravpnir's Magic Wands!

Kuva
They are fitting to my anorectic chassis setup quite nicely. Kuva

Kuva
The old chassis spacers.

Kuva
Magic Wands!

Kuva
Assembled. Kuva

Kuva
Gunnar body mounts fits perfectly on these! Kuva

Kuva
Tobias told me to give them some Zarizi throttle finger. Kuva That's the least I can do. Kuva We are approaching summer here in southern Finland and I will be able to test these on sunday. Will send a proof video later on! Kuva

Got decent 25 packs of hard training and proper chassis beating last weekend. The Magic Wands are holding up great! Kuva I didn't manage to "drive them down". In words, I think it's a great product and I would definately love to see it on mass production! Very good quality Dravpnir! I would definately buy a set for my SuDu Pro as well. Kuva

Rig held down it's own, and stayed in one piece. Then I realized a few things I needed to fix:

Kuva
Cutting down the Xcitier hood, so that servo and battery can move freely and the suspension is working. Thank god I didn't need to cut the main part of the hood, cause it's a masterpiece! Kuva

Kuva
I also had to cut the rear end of it. It was touching the uppers while trying to push it down.

Kuva
Then I saw that my passenger front tire is turning too much at times. So I made a stopper to the knuckle. It's a washer and a rubber spacer, so it can let a little loose if neccasery. I got this idea from Hittman. Thanks to him. Kuva

Kuva
Bad pic, but now it's stopping the movement, before it will turn too much and jam the driveline.

Kuva
There you can see the steering and the cutted body. Kuva

We'll have our first outdoor comp next weekend, and this thing is well up for it. Top shafty drivers are included on this. I'll add pics and video afterwards. Hopefully it'll all go well. Kuva

Onnittelut voitosta RFOT's Crawl Cupin 2014 avauskisassa!
Aika rajua menoa, ylivoimaa ja hieno katsoa miten se pitäisi tehdä.

Thanks a lot guys!

Updates again. Testing and tuning this time!

Kuva
Got some rear axle weights from Norway. Thanks hph!

Kuva
Modifing the rear axle tubes, so the weights will fit.

Kuva
Mounted. They weight 50g each.

Kuva
My idea is to get the chassis and shocks work better with all the weight in down.

Kuva
My old front weight setup. 50g per tire.

Kuva
New one!Kuva 100g per tire!

Kuva
No more mr. lightweight.... Kuva

Kuva
200g more weight on the axles. Kuva

Well I had a go with the new setup. What a dissapointment it was. No change to the acting of the rig what so ever... Kuva Only thing what I noticed was the foams being way too soft for these weights - of course.

I didn't want to give in on my testings. I put my old weights back. 50g per tire on the front and nothing on the rear axle. Then I swithced the green springs for silver ones. And now it's really going as I want it to. Kuva Soft suspension which feels alive and goes well with the changes of terrain. I'm going with this setup to the next comp on saturday.

It also stays lower than in the previous setup, which is a great relief to the sidehilling. Kuva And it's no longer lifting the front tires so much, but if it does I can just swing the front tires and it'll come right down, cause the suspension is soft enough. Let's see how it works out in the comp.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... 1FFwnDy7P4
Trying to find some cliffhanger spots. Kuva

Kuva
Quite nice spot. Kuva

Kuva
Same spot from the side.

Kuva
Rig is working extremely well now. I can't wait for saturday to comp with it again! Kuva

Kuva
Hopefully everything holds up and the good moode continues! Kuva

As usually pics and video will follow next week! Kuva

I'm back from the second comp of our local cup! Kuva

Kuva
We had a record in participants of the Shafty class. Nine rigs and ten drivers! Kuva

Kuva
Well, don't get too excited! Kuva

Kuva
Pics from the course one.

Kuva

Kuva
Here is course two, which went great! Two bonuses and only two reverses. Kuva

Kuva
Gates nine and ten from course two.

Kuva
It was a great spot.

Kuva
Going for bonus #1 on course four.

Kuva
Flat out gate on course four as well. Kuva

Kuva
Bonus #3.

Kuva
The gate that I did not manage to climb and my score went down to positive 26. I took several reverses and tried to ride the right gate over but, wasn't able to do that. And with the new bypass rule I had over 30 points from that gate when I finally lifted it to the next. Then I hit the next gate and it was over for me. Kuva First DNF for me this year...

Kuva
Repeat bonus course #5.

Kuva
It surely was fun thing to drive! Kuva

Kuva
Gate #9.

Kuva
The smug face. Six times bonus and score negative 38. Kuva

Kuva
Here are the results. And they speak for themselves.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ucGT6n- ... GFl4TY7TsQ
Course two was the best one for me. Here it is! Kuva

I have been doing some testing and tuning after the comp as well. I changed the driver's rear spring to green insted of silver. Now it's not lifting the front passenger tire so much. I also did switch the place of rear shocks in the chassis. Getting better all the time. Little things, which may have big meaning to handling of the rig.

Next comp will be first of the Finnish RC Crawling Series. It's located on the same spot as the last comp in Nokia. Can't wait to get started! Kuva

Kiitokset!  :)

Yesterday I had a great comp day with all the best drivers from Finland.

Kuva
Terrain looks damp?

Kuva
On course two. New stubby making it fly! Kuva

Kuva
On course three. Repeat bonus course --> Gate one, bonusbonus! Kuva

Kuva
After the morning the weather started to improve. No more slippery rocks.

Kuva
At the end of course three.

Kuva
Dropped the passenger front to a hole. Two reverses and a gate because of that. Allthought, that really was the only real mistake in the comp for me. Kuva

Kuva
Few reverses on the way to gate ten.

Kuva
Happy at the end of the comp. Awesome result after many hours of training! Kuva

Kuva
And huge thanks to the sponsors of course! Kuva

Here is my performance from course two. Just two reverses! Kuva

Kuva
And finally the results.

One week and then the Finnish Series continues. Nothing to do with the rig, I think it's going just fine. Kuva

I had really fun weekend in the north with my team! Excellent weather, good beer, fantastic mojito! Kuva

Kuva
And was able to take the first position. All day I had just 18 mistakes in terms of the points. Kuva So I'm extremely pleased with that. Really fun courses to drive and all went as planned. Kuva

Kuva
With a small point difference to the second. Kuva Beware Yoshiaki, I'm coming to the Nationals! Kuva

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... DQY6Fz-6WA
Here's what made the difference mainly. I was the only one to go negative in this course three. Kuva

Tomorrow we will have the third local comp. That will be the last one before The RC4WD Nordics 2014. Hoping to score good again! Kuva I'll add more pics later on.

I'm back from the last crawling comp before The Nordics. Kuva

Kuva
We had really nice place to crawl in southern part of Finland.

Kuva
Endless grippy rock and good places where to put gates. And the weather was really warm and sunny. Perfect day! Kuva

Kuva
We also broke the finnish record in the drivers of 2.2 Shafty. Twelve in total! Kuva

Kuva
Going for the first gate on course one.

Kuva
First course went well, and I got a decent lead to the second already in there.

Kuva
Rig is now working 110% the way I want. Kuva That's no good news for the opponents. Kuva

Kuva
Tricky downhill on course three. I falled off from the rock two times and then I finally got the right line to deal with it. Kuva

Kuva
Going to the finishing gate on course three.

Kuva
The comp went really well. Really confident about the rig's performance now. It's just driving from now on. I won't change it anymore. Kuva

https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=p ... u39ukuGq38
Here is course five with repeat bonus. First time I was able to go for it all nine times! Kuva

I will be doing some training before the Nordics. Just to keep up the pace. Kuva

So finally back from The Supercrawl and the Nordics. Somehow, I really didn't get a proper touch in either of the comps. Let's hope that more training will help towards the Nationals in september.

Kuva
3rd in Supercrawl after Timo (Nordschleifenkaiser) and Stephan (ZZR 1100 Racer), which both are extremely good drivers. Kuva Still happy somehow of the podium.

Kuva
2nd in The Nordics after Sven (Dampfsti) who is overall one of the best drivers in europe. Nordics went much better, than Supercrawl, but I am not completely satisfied after amazing start of the season.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bf-zGLS ... GFl4TY7TsQ
Here is the shafty final course by me from the Nordics. Managed to climb from fifth to the second position. Kuva
