Food and drinks
There is a small store inside of the camping but 3km away is also a nice restaurant what offers food otherwise during the nights. Grocery store 4km away. It is possible that there will also be a grill trailer on site. We will confirm it later.

Accommodation


Accommodation will be on the comp site in camping village called "Siikaranta Camping". From the nearest cottage there is 20 meters to the comp site.

All of the sauna and shower cottages are reserved for us till the end of March 2024. Make sure to progress with your booking before that or otherwise you might have to find accommodation way further. The cottages will go to public sales after March.

Course desing

Super and Sportsman will run 5 courses each. Performance Scale and Pro will run 8 courses each. Courses contain 10 regular + 2 bonus gates worth -10 points. Time limit is six minutes.

Judging

Here is the important bit you need to read. We want to make this competition our joint effort. That's why we have chosen the most efficient way of judging; group modus.

We will split the drivers in groups. Each group will drive one course simultaneously. We will make the groups based on the level of the drivers. Each group should have experienced drivers, semi experienced drivers and new comers. Each group has group chief, who will be resposible of the group. Judging etc... We will try to put two drivers from one country to each group, so nobody is left "alone"

NORDICS 2024 INFO PACKAGE ‼️

Important info for all the drivers attending to The Nordics this weekend.

Schedule for Thursday 27th of June

Some of the competitors are arriving later on Thursday so we decided to add another pre tech for the evening. After pre tech 1 we have plans to go to a restaurant close by for dinner: http://www.ravintolaholysmoke.fi/

On Friday there will be a food wagon on site but we don't know the exact hours. On Saturday and Sunday the reception kiosk will serve you and there is good possibilites to cook your own food on site as well. The shop and a restaurant is roughly 3km from the comp site. 👍

The drivers who booked their place to Sauna, please wear swimming suits since we will get both men and female in the Sauna this time. Sauna will be warm for us every day from 10pm to 00am. Please respect this timing.

The competition itself will happen on both sides of the camping and we will inform you later how do we split it every day.

The competition office is an orange tent right next to the cottage A1 and everything including the prize ceremony will happen in there. If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask from Samu Sarka.

A BIG thanks to everyone who were involved and participated to The Nordics 2024 in Reposaari, Finland! 🇫🇮

We had an amazing weekend with some hardcore crawling from Friday to Sunday. Courses were extremely well set, thank you to all course builders for the help! 😎

Thank you to Marko, Veli, Juha, Jukka and Arttu and David for covering me when I could not attend on Saturday. It was a big relief and help. 😍 Bummed I had to miss it but the way I heard everyone had a good time on Saturday as well.

Thank you all the drivers who came from long distances to compete in the North. It is great to see the popularity of the event increasing yearly. 😎 Big thanks also to Siikaranta Camping for having us again, the place is still one of my favourites to organize events. 🙂

Congrats to everyone who did well. It was refreshing to see four different winners this time! 😎 Level is getting higher every year and that really helps to grow the sport!

Now we rest and see you guys in Norway next year for Nordics 2025! 🇧🇻

Results:

On this year we decided to give the Matthew Buck Trophy to a guy who has done so much for our sport that he probably can't even realize. 😅 Completely free and for love to the hobby. The designer and admin of crawlerresults: Antix from Estonia. 🇪🇪 The electronical judging and result service has made a huge step on the comp organizing side of things.

A big thank you to this guy and the Eagle head Buck trophy will go to his shelf for a reason.

We miss you Matt. ❤️

Suuri kiitos järjestäjä(i)lle. Olihan huikea viikonloppu. Aivan loistavaa porukkaa ja kaikki puhalsi yhteen hiileen vaikka kilpailu on kilpailu. Omalta osalta olen erittäin tyytyväinen. Kaikki kolme luokkaa ja kaikilla radoilla maaliin. Pro:ssa yhteishenki tuli ehkä parhaiten ilmi kun auto ei sitten kertakaikkiaan toiminut loogisesti. No Saksasta asti piti tulla Luca Vesper tauolla katsomaan mun mankan säätöjä ja laittoi sen kuntoon. Siitähän se sit lähti kulkemaan aivan eri malliin. All for one and one for all!!! Kiitos Artulle superin lainasta. Tätäkin laitetta tuli testattua ensimmäisen kerran edellis iltana grillikodan viereisellä kivellä n. 10 min. Eipä kyllä paluuta tältä tieltä ole. Ja syytän kyllä Arttua tästä ihan rehellisesti ;-) Shafty meni putkeen ottaen huomioon että senkin ensitestit ajoin edellisviikon sunnuntaina. Teen kattauksen kalustostani jahka ehdin. Kiitos kaikki kotimaan kaverit ja todella mukava tavata ulkolaisia kuskeja tälläisten tapahtumien merkeissä. Ensi vuonna Norja kutsuu ja silloin ei tarvitse lainakalustolla ajella ;-)
