Kyllä ne tuollaisella hekutusviestillä pitää tänään saada nettiin. Ja vielä suuremmalla syyllä, kun yötä myöten on paiskittu hommia, että Herralla olisi tiistaina osat.   ;D

Tästä lähin kopsaan viestit suoraan RCC:stä. Nytkun olen alkanut laittamaan kuvia viesteihin, niin vie aikaa aivan käsittämättömästi postata kahdella kielellä. Tästä meikäläisen ylä-aste englannista kukaan kuitenkaan selvää saa, joten aina saa kysyä, jos jokin asia mietityttää rakentelussa.   ;) Laiskuus, perisynti.

I had problems with Mini-BR's so I swithced back to Micro Sidewiders for now. It took me quite a while to get it going, but it finally is a RTR! (Still to come Skinny Rovers and the three piece carbon wheels and then the NCD knuckle weights). Here are the pics I got from today:

Today I glued the tires to the wheels and attached them to the rig.


Sorry for dark photos. It's beginning to look ready. It's now 27cm wide on the front and 25cm at rear axle. I think it'll work well.

I tried this thing on flat floor indoors. JEEEEZZ, those Stubbies are brutal!! Will be a good test this weekend to give it some jerky on the rocks.

It is now ready for the finalizing training on The Bunker tomorrow. I'll shoot some video of it, if I can.

Yesterday I did the first runs on the rocks with this thing. It's going great straight from the first try. I was able to test with the defending Nordic Champ LaaLaa. He has the SuDu Pro with the XR10 axles, so it was really good way to separate the differences between these two. We couldn't hardly find any. They are going quite similarly for the moment. Only thing I need to do is ordering these:


It's desparate for more weight on the front. That is quite much the only thing I will change before the Spanish Nats. We also did a good beating to these trucks to see what it can handle. 2 meter jumps ain't no problem with the stubbies and everything seems to be handling well the weight of the axles. Probably only thing which I need to get spare is the three piece wheel inner part.   ;D


That's a one happy team driver!   8)

Miltäs ne akselit vaikuttaa? Riittääkö kääntyvyys vakiona? Miltä vetarit vaikutta, kestääkö? Onko tehty jo jotain päivitystä akseleihin?

Ihan ok tuo kääntyi, ei XR:n veroisesti mutta hyvin näytti kestävän kohtuullista sikaa, mitä stubbyista lähti   ;D

Akseleihin on tehty jo omat knucklepainot myyntiin asti. Samoin titaanivetarit taka-akselille. Plus kaikki osat mitä NCD:ltä saa. Etuvetarit vaikuttavat todella kestäviltä, esimerkiksi anakin mun Superbullyn rimpuloihin verrattuna. Kääntyvyys on ihan ok, siitä se ei jäänyt kiinni, kun kuitenkin digillä voi pelata kurvit.

Kyllä nämä ovat The akselit tällä hetkellä, jos puhtaalta pöydältä lähtee crawleria rakentamaan.

Noin 100g joutuu painossa antamaan XR10-akseleille tasoitusta. Se on ehkä suurin miinus. Mutta plussaa sitten se, että näyttäisi olevan kaikin puolin kestävät akselit suoraan hyllystä, mikä tekee niistä edulliset verrattuna kaikkiin muihin markkinoilla oleviin akseleihin.

Täytyis ryhtyä tutkimaan mahdollisuutta tehdä taakse oma vaihdelaatikko. Siellä moottorin etäisyys akseliin on mielestäni tarpeettoman suuri, kun ei sinne tarvitse servoa väliin tunkea.

Tilasin juuri nuo RC4WD:n painot itselleni testiin. Ei ole kyllä hinnalla pilatut, kun toimituskuluineen kaikkineen maksavat noin 17e!!!

Ennen vanhaan painoista sai pulittaa 50-80 euroa.

Ei ole kyllä pahan hintaiset painot, ei paljoa kannata alkaa itse turaamaan. Mutta tuo RC4WD nykyinen rahtihinnoittelu on kyllä perseestä, painojen lisäksi jos ottaa itse bully2 akselit niin rahti huimat   100dollaria   >:(

Alennuksia emme voi kommentoida. Mutta kuulin tiiminvetäjältä, että hurjien rahtikulujen taustalla on noin 30-40% hävikki lähetyksissä. Näin suuri hävikki ei mielestäni ole millään tavoin realistinen. Olen itse lähettänyt satoja lähetyksiä ympäri maailman ja tähän asti vain 3 lähetystä on hukkunut matkalla.

Myös rccrawlerin puolella kauppiaat, jotka myyvät kalliimpia tuotteita ovat huomannet kasvaneen paypal dispute trendin, jossa asiakkaat tilaavat kalliin tuotteen ja ilmoittavat sen sitten kadonneeksi ja saavat rahansa takaisin. Jotkut kauppiaat ovat kuitenkin myöhemmin saaneet selville, että tuotteet ovat saapuneet perille ja ovat asiakkaalla käytössä. Ehkä tällaiset väärinkäytökset pakottavat kauppiaita käyttämään kalliita seurannalla varustettuja palveluja.

Kannattaa tiedustella Ruotsin RC4WD edustajalta hintoja. Käsittääkseni hän pystyy myymään aika edullisesti tavaraa.

Sama homma täällä. Vaikuttavat oikein kelvollisilta. 50g per pyrö saadaan painoa näillä, joka kuulostaa mielestäni aika passelilta.

Got my RC4WD knuckle weights recently. Was eager to put them under the beast.


The old ones were not too heavy, and with the current hub setup, there wasn't enough room for more weights.


This looks better. So the overall weights are 100g compared to the old 30g.


Don't they shine!!


Not much to do before we go.


Just have to clean up those electrics on the mount behind the motor.


Then I can say that it is ready for Spain.

I'm all set for take off. Project Spain 2014 is coming to it's highlight. The competition.

I managed to get the front suspension working better, so I hope everything will hold up for the weekend.

My 1st goal is to be driving on sundays final (top 10). Let's see what it can do. "thumbsup"
