Saako scale-luokassa ajaa kahdella autolla sama kuski? Ehkä tulossa?

Ei saa.

Kysymysluontoista asiaa.
Mites kun nuissa säännöissä luki näin

"Auton akseliväli saa olla korkeintaan 12,5”. Tämä määritellään mittaamalla keskeltä etuakselin kannasta keskelle taka-akselin kantaa. Kaikkien renkaiden   tulee osoittaa mittauksen aikana eteenpäin, ja auton jousituksen tulee kannatella auton painoa."

Eli kertokaapas missä päin sijaitsee tuo akselin kanta, kun en itse osannut tulkita, vai osaisiko joku sanoa onko AX10n vakiolinkit vakiorungolla niissä koloissa uloimpana, droop jousituksella (vakioiskareilla), sitten se 12.5"?

Akseliväli = etu- ja takarenkaan kiinnitysruuvien välinen etäisyys. Mitta otetaan ruuvin keskeltä.

Joo oli tiedossa tuo renkaan kiinnityskohdasta mittaaminen jne. jne. lähinnä hämmästytti tuo KANTA-sana, ei osaa hahmottaa   :P

2.2 Moa
1.9 Jeep (jos saan rakennettua. Ostettavat osat on kyllä melkein kaikki, pitäs vain ehtiä tekemään omavalmisteet ja kasaamaan.)

Muuten, onkos scale kisassa mitkä säännöt? Vai otetaanko ihan rennosti ja nauretaan minkä keritään.

1.9” Class – Modeled after typical street legal off-road vehicles
    • Chassis must be OEM stock or custom ladder style that must extend over the
      axles. OEM suspension may be modified in any way. Construction material is not
      restricted.
    • Tires are restricted to an overall outside diameter no greater than 4” and a width
      no greater than 1.75”. The tires must fit onto a standard 1.9” rim. Flywheels
      brand wheels and tires and 1/18 scale Nylint brand wheels and tires will be
      allowed.
    • Must run a complete body, bumpers, fenders, doors & tailgates must be intact.
      Some fender trimming is allowed but the basic shape must be retained. A
      shortened or lengthened body is allowable. A tubed bed must have a functional
      bed area capable of carrying a full-size spare laid flat (rear fender and tailgate
      rules to not apply to tubed beds).
    • No 4 wheel steer.
    • No axle “dig”
    • Wheelbase and width is limited only by your body, but it must fit within the
      body’s fender wells.
    • Vehicles must be “run what ya brung.”
    • Battery must be placed on or within the chassis.
Points:
Scale Class: All rigs in the Scale class will start off with 0 points and points will be
deducted during the competitions. The object is complete the course without incurring
points. Point deductions are listed below. There is no time limit and no maximum point
limit. Speed is rewarded.
Reverse                           + 1 point             Rollover               + 5 points
Gate                               + 5 points           Touch                   + 5 points
Reposition                         + 10 points           Rescue                 - 5 points
Time:                             - 5 points           DNF highest score + 20 points
Reverse: Using the throttle to reverse course. Non powered roll backs are allowed.
During gated courses each driver is allowed 1 reverse per gate without penalty. To ease
scoring this is scored as an automatic deduction prior start. (-1 point per gate including
start and finish; i.e. 8 gates = -8)
Rollover: Points are assessed when a vehicle rolls over and does not right itself or can
not be righted without touching. Winching is allowed without incurring a penalty. Once
righted the vehicle must be driven back into position. All gates are still live while on a
gated course.

Gate: Failure to pass all 4 wheels through a gate or touching a gate with any part of the
vehicle. Winching through a gate is allowed.

Touch: Any physical contact with the vehicle while on course. If a repair must be made
then the vehicle maybe touched, however the vehicle must be placed back into the
position it was in prior to repair. No touch penalty will be incurred when setting up a
winch or tow straps as long as the vehicle is not repositioned or moved.

Reposition: Penalty is incurred when the vehicle must be physically moved. This
includes picking up the vehicle or a rescue by another vehicle. If a reposition requires the
driver to touch the vehicle then a touch penalty is also incurred.

Rescue: Using another vehicle to free a vehicle on course. The rescue vehicle will only
be allowed during runs in which the buddy system is in place. The rescuer will receive
the bonus points while the rescued will incur a reposition penalty.

Time: There is no time limit; however the fastest time will be awarded a -5 point bonus.

DNF: If a vehicle is unable to complete the course regardless of reason a DNF will be
assessed. If a DNF is assessed then they will be scored with a +20 point addition to the
highest score achieved by a participant. (I.e. if driver A incurred 100 points during a
course and has the highest score for that course then driver B who received a DNF will be
scored a 120.) In addition to the +20 point addition the driver will not have the reverse
deduction added to his point total, he/she will only get -1 progress point for each gate
he/she completed.

Buddy System: When the buddy system is in use 2 vehicles will run the course, the
leading vehicle is the one being scored during that run. The “buddy” is the follower and
will not be scored unless a rescue is requested. After the course has been completed the
drivers will reverse order and the “buddy” now becomes the leader. Driving order will be
decided by a coin flip. Buddy pairing will also be decided by chance. Method of
determination will be decided on site based on number of participants.

Scale appearance:
Scale appearance points will be deducted from the final score of each
event. Appearance points are listed below.
Hardbody                               -5 points       Working lights         -1 point
Spare tire (must be functional)         -1 point         Working winch           -1 point
Tow strap (must be functional)         -1 point         Interior detail         -1 point
Roof rack with large scale items (i.e. canoe) -5 points
Scale accessories (gas can, tools, cooler, etc) -1 point per item up to a maximum of -5
points

Events
Events will vary from location to location. Below is a compilation of approved events
with brief guidelines.

Gated Trail:
        This is pretty much self explanatory. Each course will vary in length but will
typically be between 5 and 10 gates. The width of each gate will vary depending on the
location but generally the width should be no less than 12 inches.

Hill Climb:
        Once again this is a fairly straight forward; with a location selected you will
simply have a start and finish. Fastest time wins; if no one completes the course then
furthest distance wins. *Gates can be added to this event.

Time Trial:
        This event will be determined by terrain. This will be a multi-terrain event. It
should comprise of at least 3 various types of terrain. For example a course may begin
with a rock crawl section, proceed to a hill climb section and then finish up with a high
speed dirt road section. The fastest time will be the winner. *Gates can be added to this
event.

Trail Ride:
        This is not a competitive event it is intended to be just for fun. One driver leads
the pack through whatever terrain and obstacles he/she chooses. This event is all about
fun, camaraderie, and testing your vehicles capabilities.

*If gates are added to any course then the standard point system applies and the driver
with the fastest time is awarded the time bonus. The driver with the fewest points is then
the winner.

Näillä mennään noin aluksi mutta pienillä muutoksilla. Radoilla tulee olemaan aikaraja sekä kaikki tehdasvalmisteiset 1.9" renkaat käyvät ja itsemodatut eivät saa olla 4.4" korkeammat.

Se mitä kisamuotoja ajetaan on vielä auki mutta todennäköisesti ajetaan ainoastaan portillinen rata.

Mukana scale-luokassa pnm ,radiot 2.4  ja autona Ford .... jompi kumpi tai molemmat jos muutoksia automäärään tulee. Onko tarkoitus tuolla automäärällä per osallistuja rajoittaa aikataulua vain ettei tule mitään pistekikkailuja jos koko sarja ajetaan??  Kuitenkin jos tuonne asti kulkeutuu niin oishan se kivempi ajaa reilusti ;)
 

Lähinnä se on aikataulutuksen helpottamista ja kisojen pitämistä järkevän pituisina
