First finnish series comp is now behind with a pleasing result.

Comp place was a huge area in the middle part of Finland.

Second course on the way.

The new motors were perfect choise for the job. So smooth and well powered.

Rigs performing beginned to remind me of the worlds last year.

There was couple of easier courses and couple of really hardcore ones.

I made full -50 points from first three courses and so did LaaLaa. So it was going to be battle till the end.

On the last course LaaLaa managed to finish with zero points total.

I wasn't so lucky. Got two gates till the gate eight and broke something from the front axle.

After the fourth course +26 points, I slipped down to second.

Here is the first course on video. Little panic to the end, but didn't cost me any points luckily.

Here are the results. Can't wait for another battle with Lasse. It's so much more fun to drive at your absolute limits to achieve the win.

Now I need to find out what's wrong with my axle.

Yesterday it was time to look what is wrong with my axle.

Problem was, that it didn't have any power on the front axle. At first I thought it might be loose pinion gear, but after checking it out I had to look for another reason. It wasn't the locker either.

Then I fought two hours with one screw in the axle. I drilled it open eventually.

Here's the quilty bit. A pin was broken in one of the gears.

I decided to install a whole new set of gears into it.

Can't say that it was a "quick fix", but now it's at least done.

Next comp is already tomorrow with four rigs on the line. It's the last practice before the Nordics, so I'll better make most of it. Pics and video will follow.
